Search Warrant Results In Hillsboro Drug Bust
On Saturday, May 1, as part of an ongoing investigation into drug sales and use in the City of Hillsboro, officers with the Hillsboro Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence located at 720 Lake Street in the City of Hillsboro.
During the search, officers found marijuana, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia within the residence and within a vehicle that had been located at the address in question.
Evidence collected in the search led to the arrests of 26-year-old Brogan K. Gillingham and 20-year-old Dakota D. Wells, both of Hillsboro. Gillingham was arrested on charges of Manufacturing/Delivering Marijuana, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Wells was arrested on charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both Wells and Gillingham were released on signature bonds.
Assisting at the scene were the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, the Elroy Police Department, and the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit.
