WONEWOC - William D. Boldon, age 83 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 5, 2021.

He was born on February 5, 1938 to Raymond and Anna (Malphy) Boldon in Hillsboro.  He married Bonnie Henry on June 11, 1960.  They have been married for 60 years and was on the homestead in Wonewoc for 49 years.

Bill did roofing, worked at Ray-O-Vac, and worked 13 years at Badger Ordinance.  He then worked for AMPI, Warner Creek Cheese and Foremost Farms for 20 years as a cheesemaker.  He drove school bus for 13 years in the morning and going to Foremost Farms at night.  He then worked at Ho-Chunk Casino at Baraboo in the environmental services.

He was a member of St. Jerome’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.  Bill loved to deer hunt, rabbit hunt and tell tall tales.  He loved being around people and his children and grandchildren.  He was a wonderful father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Boldon of Wonewoc; children, Allan Boldon of Reedsburg, Teresa Boldon of Wonewoc, Patrick Boldon of Wonewoc, Pam Berry of Reedsburg and Margaret (Rich) Ratner of St. Louis, MO; daughter-in-law, Dawn Boldon (Tim Jandt) of De Forest, WI; grandchildren, Tasha (Nick) Monica, Brogan Boldon, Amanda (Cody) McCluskey, Ashley Berry (James Blandin), Jessica Brockman (Tony Foss) and Will Boldon; great grandchildren, Bria, Sophie, Hailey, Merrick and Vylette; brother, Edward (Alice) Boldon; sister, Caroline Boldon and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; three beloved sons, Bill, Timmy and Jimmy; and brother, Clifford Boldon.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church in Wonewoc, with Father Don Bauer officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Theresa’s Catholic Cemetery in Union Center.
