Hillsboro - Gary M. Pyfferoen, 68, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Schmitt Woodland Hills in Richland Center. He was born on May 13, 1954, the son of Glen and Norma (Jackson) Pyfferoen. He graduated from Richland Center High School in 1972. Gary married Kristine A. Hynek on February 18, 1987, in Las Vegas, NV. For 37 years Gary worked for Frito Lay as a route salesman. He enjoyed playing cards, hunting, fishing, camping, and his several trips to Las Vegas with Kristy.
Survivors include his wife Kristy Pyfferoen of Hillsboro, WI; 3 children, Selena (Kyle) Olson of New Lisbon, WI, Dean (Mandy) Pyfferoen of Katy, TX, Cole (Laura) Pyfferoen of Richland Center, WI; 7 grandchildren, Samantha, Madison, and Lukas Olson, A.J. and Annika Pyfferoen, Avaya and Koen Pyfferoen; his mother, Norma Pyfferoen of Richland Center, WI; 2 brothers, Steve Pyfferoen of Bruce, WI, and Bruce Pyfferoen (Laura Merwin) of Richland Center; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen and a sister, Diane Anthony.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home from Noon to 3:00 PM and also at Louis’s Bar in Yuba starting at 5:00 PM.
