LAVALLE - Robert Lee Rogers, aka “Bob”, age 84, of LaValle, Wisconsin died on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center with his beloved wife, Sherryle Ann Rogers (Jones), a family pet, Cowboy, and family at his side. Bob battled COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), and CHF (congestive heart failure), for the last seven years of his life.

Bob was the son of Phillip and Arvilla (Fessey) Rogers and was born on June 16, 1937, in Hillsboro, Wisconsin. He graduated from Elroy High school on May 26, 1955. In the spring of 1986, he met the love of his life, Sherryle Ann Sieber (Jones). They married on July 7, 1988, and Bob was blessed with three children, where they resided in Wonewoc.    Bob worked at Perry Printing and later worked as a bartender, but his true love was being a truck driver. He also had many other skills. Bob was a one of kind unique human being who loved his family more than words can say. Bob was known for his best jokes, his signature Brandy Manhattens, the gift to gab with all generations, and his love for hunting and fishing. He will be missed by many, and his B S stories he told.

Proceeding his death are his parents; a brother, James Rogers; brother-in-law and sister, Harold and Patricia Shear (Rogers), brother-in-law Lester Woolever and two great grandchildren, Marie Rene Sieber (Lil Nugget), and Addalynn Renae Yeazle.

Bob is survived by his wife Sherryle of LaValle; a daughter Rhonda Sieber (H.L. Cox Jr.), of Wonewoc; two sons, Joseph (Chris) Sieber of Reedsburg, Chad (Helen) Sieber of Reedsburg; six grandchildren, Danielle Doyle (Mlsna), of Necedah, Rylie Yeazle (Steven Johnson lll), of LaValle, Joey (Jocelyn) Sieber of Reedsburg, Nicholas Sieber of Reedsburg, Jade Hamburg (Jake Williams) of New Lisbon and Charlie Sieber; four great grandchildren, Chance, Aubrie, Macie, Nolan; sister Rita Woolever (Rogers) of Hillsboro; brother Richard “Dick” (Niki) Rogers of Cedarburg; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A celebration of life is being planned for June 11th, 2022. Details will be announced later when it’s 5 o’clock somewhere.
