With a history spanning over 133 years, the Hillsboro Sentry-Enterprise currently serves at Hillsboro’s only local newspaper.
The Evans Print Media Group purchased the Hillsboro Sentry-Enterprise and a competing local newspaper, the Hillsboro Outlook, in January of 2018, combining the papers into one. Greg Evans, the owner of Evans Print Media, is a former resident of Hillsboro whose family has played an active role in the community for many years.
The Hillsboro Sentry-Enterprise currently has subscribers in Hillsboro, Wonewoc, Elroy, Union Center, Kendall, Ontario, and La Farge, and covers a wide range of topics including city councils, school boards, and human interest.
