Dolores M. Coonrod, age 94 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Milestone Senior Living.
She was born on July 7, 1929 in Janesville, the daughter of Iola (Pratt) and Henry Scott.
Dolores was united in marriage to Jack W. Coonrod in 1952 at the Old Stone Church in Rockton, Illinois.
They lived in the Beloit area for many years, where she was a cosmetologist. In 2005, they retired to the rural area of Hillsboro, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on August 13, 2009.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Hillsboro, the Red Hat Society and the Yuba Homemakers.
Survivors include her children, John (Bonnie) Coonrod of New Milford, IL, Deborah Winzenried of Hillsboro and William (Rose) Coonrod of Rockton, IL; grandchildren, Chad Coonrod, Rebecca Potenziani and Matthew Osborne; great grandchildren, Alexis, Dominick, Lilianna, Hunter, Max and Jax and great great granddaughter, Genevieve.
In addition to her husband, Jack; she was preceded in death by her Parents; grandson, Scott Coonrod; son-in-law, Lawrence Winzenried; sister, Phyllis Hoeper and brother, Gerald Scott.
Memorial Services for Dolores will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the East Lawn Cemetery in Beloit.
