Hillsboro - Franklin E. Johnson, age 62 years, of rural Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born on July 11, 1960 to James and Jeanice (Scott) Johnson in Beloit, Wisconsin.
Franklin was united in marriage to Sandra (Garthwaite) Johnson. They lived in Beloit for several years where he worked for the Broaster Company. In more recent years they moved to the rural Hillsboro area and made their home.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; children, Sandra (John) Derka, Shane Garthwaite and Anthony Garthwaite (Jody); grandchildren, Kayla, Raven, Julie, Alex, Ben and Justin; siblings, Clara Schuman, Marilyn Wolf, Daniel Johnson, Judith Warren, Scott Johnson and Alice Legg.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Johnson; mother, Jeanice Hummer; step father, Carl Hummer; sisters, Velma Mulligan, Vicki Faber and Jean Johnson and an infant brother, James Johnson.
