Helen June Winchell passed from this life to the next on December 16, 2023 in Hollywood, Florida at 94 years old. Her husband Adrian H. Winchell Jr. preceded her in death in June of 2021. They were married for 72 years.
Helen was raised by loving parents Irma and Alfred Brandt in Wonewoc, Wisconsin. She loved her folks and relatives in her hometown and spoke whimsically of returning to Wonewoc in her later years for a simpler life. The largest portion of her life was lived in Boynton Beach, Florida with her husband, where she spent her earlier years combing the beach for treasures and enjoying family get-togethers and events.
Helen also enjoyed many summers in the cool Colorado air at her son and daughter-in-law’s second home. She loved the nature there and any excuse to gather up sweet woodsy items.
This loving woman will be sorely missed by her three married children and spouses. Adrian and Kelly in Hollywood, Florida, Val and Gary in Texas and her youngest, Mark, married to Regena and living in Jensen Beach, Florida. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Mark and Crystal in Jensen Beach and Jeff in Texas, along with their spouses and children.
Helen will be laid to rest by her husband Adrian at the VA crypt in West Palm Beach, Florida at a future time in January. Her children will forever remember her loving spirit and never ending support.
