HILLSBORO - Peggy S. Winchel, 61, of rural Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away at home on Thursday, April 7, 2022 after a long health battle in the care of her family and surrounded by loved ones.

Peggy Sue Winchel was born to Harold and Patricia (Rollins) Winchel on November 24, 1960, in Hillsboro, Wisconsin. She was the fourth child and first daughter of their eight children. Peggy attended Valley Elementary School and later graduated from Hillsboro High School.

Peggy and Allen would later divorce but remained lifelong friends until he preceded her in death in 2011. She spent many years primarily working at Cellox and Land’s End in Reedsburg. She spent the last 14 years sharing a life with Ronny Nevsimal with many wild adventures along the way.

Peggy enjoyed traveling with her family, playing computer games, hosting family holidays, shopping, and living the farm life. She was also a generous gift giver to anyone that knew her. She was most happy seeing the excitement on her grandchildren’s faces as she spoiled them until the end, along with all of her children, nieces, nephews, relatives, or anyone she saw fit. She was truly one of a kind and will forever be missed.
