Blaine Lee Taylor, 89, of Wonewoc, WI, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Tomah VA Medical Center. He was born September 4, 1936 in Valley, WI, to Floyd and Blanche Taylor. He attended Salem Ridge School and graduated from Wonewoc Center High School in 1954. Blaine served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard and was stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington, during the Berlin Crisis.
In October 1962, he married Judy McCauley. Together they raised two sons, Danny (Jackie) and Randy (Penny). In 1976, Blaine purchased the family farm, where he worked alongside his father before becoming a dedicated dairy farmer. His farm was later certified organic, and he took great pride in raising Jersey cows.
A skilled tradesman and inventive thinker, Blaine was known as a jack of all trades. He built and repaired farm equipment, did electrical and plumbing work, grew lemon trees, and raised trout for private ponds. He was a good neighbor who believed strongly in helping others.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; his sons, Danny (Jackie) and Randy (Penny); grandchildren Victoria, Justin, Leetah, and Clara; and his brother, Billy of Adams, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Blanche Taylor, and his brother, Bruce Taylor.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Picha Funeral Home in Wonewoc, WI. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with services from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., officiated by Ricky Tyler.
