Carlos Duane “Butch” Tracy, age 79 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, died on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro.

He was born on April 12, 1944 in Wonewoc, Wisconsin, the son of Patrick and Rosealia (Elmer) Tracy.

Butch graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1962. He farmed most of his life, until he couldn’t farm no more. He truly loved going to HBC with his scooter and to Holy Cow every Thursday and loved to talk to people.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Rosealia; sisters, Patricia Coggins and Daisy Heintz; brother, Leslie “Pete” Tracy; and brothers-in-law, Jack Crow, Von Coggins and Don Barbour.

Surviving are his sisters, Carol Crow of Sauk City, Rosemary Barbour and Diane (Dale) Roloff and many nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held at the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro.

A Celebration of Butch’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the lower community room at Hills Manor – 118 Madison Street in Hillsboro.
