Charlotte D. Kimball, age 93 years, of Wonewoc, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Elroy Health Services surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 6, 1930, the daughter of Charles M. and Eliza (Mattison) Jones. Charlotte graduated from the Hillsboro High School in 1948.
Charlotte was united in marriage to Le Roy Kimball on October 14, 1950 in Hillsboro and they lived in Wonewoc for many years.
She had worked at Ray-O-Vac and Badger Ordinance and when they started their family, Charlotte stayed at home, taking care of her family. When her kids grew up, she started doing a lot of babysitting in Wonewoc and took care of many more children.
Charlotte loved to dance and was captain of her bowling team for many years.
Survivors include her children, Edward Roy (Gale) Kimball, Melody (Kevin) Winchel, Valerie (Mike) Litty, Kimberly Thomure and Julie (Tom) Fitzgerald; 13 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy on August 21, 2018; Parents; sisters, Ella Hanson, Stella Ledman and Della Gardner; brothers, Charles H. Jones and Lawrence Jones and son-in-law, Bruce Thomure.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 12 noon at the Picha Funeral Home in Wonewoc, with Rev. Alan Tripp officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Eden Cemetery in Wonewoc. A time of visitation will be at the Picha Funeral Home in Wonewoc on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
