Charlotte E. Von Ruden, age 103 years, of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026 at the Richland Hospital in Richland Center, Wisconsin.
She was born on September 28, 1922 at Buckeye Ridge, Vernon County, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Abigail (Gudgeon) Brown. Charlotte attended Salem Ridge Grade School.
Charlotte worked for many years at Seats, Inc. in Reedsburg. She enjoyed writing poetry, fishing, squirrel hunting and the great outdoors in general. She especially enjoyed riding her Western Pony. She was a long time resident of Hillsboro and had many friends and acquaintances.
Survivors include her children, Judith Diane Revels (Michael Oxendine), Conrad Eugene Revels and Sandra Eileen Revels (Rick Fanta); grandchildren, Gordon Revels, Suzanne Parella, Kandi Connor, Kimberly Yount, Kaeleen Meeks, Helen Pearsall and Richard Fanta; numerous Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by children, Bernice Hope, Roger Lloyd, Helen Barbara and Colleen Ann; grandson, Eric Eugene Revels; daughter-in-law, Carol Revels; husbands, Lloyd Revels and Vernon Von Ruden and siblings, Clifford Brown, Lily Brown, Goldie Brown, Rosetta Brown, Sylvia Lathrop, Frances Winchell and Bertha Hahn.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with Pastor Thomas Hotek officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Cemetery at Burr Ridge. A time of visitation will be at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m.
