Darrell Krajco, age 55 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin passed away at home unexpectedly on Sunday, March 9, 2025.

Darrell was born on September 20, 1969 in Hillsboro, Wisconsin, son of Louis and Mary Ann (Tydrich) Krajco. Darrell graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1988, then attended Western Technical college where he received an Associates Degree in Agriculture in 1991.

Darrell loved all things related to farming, from throwing hay bales and learning how to drive the tractors from his dad, to planning out the fields, tending to his British White Park "girls," baling hay, and keeping the Krajco Farm traditions alive. He also considered himself to be a "jack-of-all-trades, but a master-of-none." He was a builder, a school bus driver, and a maintenance man, who loved to keep things running smoothly. If he couldn't instantly fix something, it became a challenge and it may have taken some blood, sweat and swearing, but he was usually victorious.

Darrell was united in marriage to Teresa Ann Good on July 22nd, 1995 at the First Congregational Church in Hillsboro. They made their home in Hillsboro, Wisconsin where they loved each other unconditionally for 29 years. Their marriage was strong and full of laughs, sarcastic comments, and jokes that made them the couple that they were. He and Teresa have two daughters, Carly and Mackenzie that caused his hairline to recede exceedingly fast, but there wasn't anything that he wouldn't do for them. He loved his family with his whole heart.

Darrell will be missed greatly by his wife, Teresa and his daughters, Carly and Mackenzie. His sister Anita Titus (Lee) and brother Francis Krajco (Laurie); nephews Clint Titus, Jordan Titus (Celess), Nolan Krajco (Debbie); nieces Stacia Kohlstadt (Heath), Audrey Titus (Ryan), Alyssa Guy (Dustin), Malyssa Krajco; many great nieces and nephews: Aubrey, Bryce, Reese, Ellis, Louis, Audrey, Alina, Hayes; and many aunts and uncles: Lori and Micah Bahr, Bryan and Monica Good, Ray Tydrich (Rose), Thomas and Cindy Williams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mary Ann Krajco and his sister Diane.

Darrell was one of a kind. He loved working outside with his neighbors and friends, loved teaching the younger ones about target shooting and hunting, and was one of the kindest people you could know and trust. His family and friends are heartbroken because he simply was the best husband, father, son, uncle, and friend that one could ever ask for. He will be truly and greatly missed by his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 14th from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Firemen’s Community Center in Hillsboro. Please join the family if you are able.

In lieu of flowers, please send gifts to The Family of Darrell and Teresa Krajco, S1383 Town Shop Road, Hillsboro, Wisconsin 54634.
