Gerald G. Burke, age 85 years, of rural Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born on January 21, 1939 to Gordon and Irene (Waraksa) Burke in Milwaukee. Gerald graduated from the West Bend High School and UW Stout.
Gerald was united in marriage to Susan Smith on April 27, 1963 in Fort Atkinson.
He was an auto mechanics instructor at Waukesha County Technical College for many years. Following retirement they moved to the Hillsboro area.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Burke; children, Michael (Tammy) Burke, Christine Burke and Patricia Lastofka; eight Grandchildren and one Great Grandson. He was preceded in death by his Parents and a sister, Moneen Meuer.
Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery at Cashton, Wisconsin.
