Janice G. Tosch, age 87 years, of rural Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Gundersen St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was born on October 6, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Rev. Robert and Bernice (Gehrke) Burrows. Janice graduated from the Tulley High School in Chicago and then attended the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
Janice was united in marriage to Bruce Tosch in May of 1959 in Chicago. They lived and worked in Chicago for many years and then retired to the rural La Farge/Hillsboro area, where they enjoyed the remainder of their lives. Bruce preceded her in death on June 11, 2016.
Janice was a gifted musician, playing piano and singing on many occasions.
Survivors include her son, Stephen Tosch (Bob Jensen); many nieces and nephews and devoted companion, Bill Stenerson.
In addition to her husband, Bruce; she was preceded in death by her Parents; sister, Faith Barbara Nettnin; nephews, Gary Tosch, Michael Nettnin and Tom Gordon and nieces, Barbie Sue Nettnin and Barbara Cunningham.
No Services are scheduled at this time.
Memorials can be provided in Janice’s memory to the Hillsboro EMS or La Farge Food Pantry.
