Linda M. Erickson, age 78 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026 in Hillsboro.
She was born on January 21, 1948 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of William and Mary (Barber) Webb. Linda married Fred Hoffmann Sr and they had three children. They later divorced.
Linda attended beautician’s school and then worked for a beauty salon that her mother owned in Rockford. She also worked as a waitress in Rockford.
Linda married Lyle Erickson in 1974 in Rockford. They were married for several years until his passing in 2013.
In 1980, the family moved to La Crosse, Wisconsin and 4 years later to Trempealeau. She worked for Ashley Furniture and Lake Center Industries. Linda has lived the last 13 years in Hillsboro near her daughter.
She enjoyed making crafts and working in the yard with her flowers and garden. She was a wonderful Grandma and enjoyed helping others. Linda enjoyed her faithful dog, Sassy.
Linda was a member of the Connect Church in Onalaska and had a strong faith in God.
Survivors include her children, Shelly Callender, Fred (Paula) Hoffmann Jr. and Angela (Robert) Parker; step children, Connie Erickson and Tracy Timm; grandchildren, Michael Hoffmann, Jamie West, Ashley Reinicke, Joey Hanson, Antonia Hoffmann, Sarah Hoffmann, Jorden Sitze, Brandi Parker and Jesse Parker; step grandchildren, Brianna Jonsgaard, Casey Erickson, Kara Hoch, Zachary Erickson, Tyler Spies and Logan Time; twenty Great Grandchildren and siblings, Jim Webb, George Webb, Susie Helleland and William Webb Jr.
In addition to her husband, Lyle Erickson; she was preceded in death by her Parents and step daughter, Brenda Privet.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 with a visitation and service from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Connect Church in Onalaska, WI, with Pastors Jerry and Nancy Hatlevig and Pastor Wanda Emerson officiating.
The Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting with arrangements.
