Naomi J. Preston, age 96 years, of Union Center, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Pine Valley Healthcare in Richland Center.
She was born on August 25, 1927 to Amos and Pearl (Morgan) Teed in Elroy, Wisconsin.
Naomi was united in marriage to Ben Preston on February 18, 1945 in Elroy.
They lived in Union Center for many years where they operated their family business, Preston’s Sales and Service. They loved their motor homes and the traveling they shared together including their winters in Florida. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2011.
Naomi loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wonewoc. In later years, she volunteered at the Wonewoc Public Library. She also enjoyed her flower gardens and watching the birds.
Survivors include her children, Sandy Sullivan, Karen (Warren) Doering, Don (Merry) Preston and Dan (Jill) Preston; eleven Grandchildren; twenty-three Great Grandchildren; five Great Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Ben; she was preceded in death by her Parents and siblings, Marjorie Staerz, Dorothy Wyman, Amos “Bud” Teed, Robert Teed and Lloyd Teed.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 12 noon at the Grace Community Church - 208 N East Street, Wonewoc. Burial will be in the Pine Eden Cemetery in Wonewoc. A time of visitation will be at the Church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon.
