Patricia Ann “Pat” Pesik passed away February 7, 2026, in Hillsboro, Wisconsin, at the age of 87. She was born December 29, 1938, in Dagenham, England, to Bella and Alfred Dennison. After completing her education, she worked as a clerk in London.
Pat met Bill Pesik at the Brown Derby Pub in London. They fell in love, and Pat moved to the United States to marry Bill on March 23, 1960, in Hillsboro, Wisconsin. They had two children, Traci and Craig. The family lived on Air Force bases in New Mexico, North Dakota, Germany, and England. While living in Europe, they traveled to Spain, Italy, Morocco, Yugoslavia, and France. After Bill retired from the Air Force, the family returned to Hillsboro. Pat and Bill also lived in Tomah, Wisconsin for many years. They recently moved to Milestone Senior Living in Hillsboro.
Pat loved listening to old time country and western music, including Crystal Gayle, Waylon Jennings, George Jones, and others. She loved her MP3 player filled with her favorite songs. She also enjoyed creating memories with her husband, children, and grandchildren. They enjoyed family trips to New Orleans and Chicago, as well as train journeys to Glacier National Park in Montana. Pat also enjoyed special holiday traditions, such as flying kites on Easter and playing practical jokes with Christmas gifts. Pat also had a soft spot in her heart for animals, especially cats.
Pat is survived by her husband, William; son, Craig (Lori); daughter Traci (Jim) Shaker; grandchildren Alex (Sarahi) Shaker and Brienne Shaker (Andrew Riederer); sister, Shirley Lawler; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Peter Dennison; and brother-in-law Joe Lawler.
Patricia’s last wish was to return to her home country, so her ashes will be spread in England at a later date. We will raise a glass in her honor at the Pesik family reunion in 2026. All who wish to honor her memory may direct memorials to their local animal shelter.
The Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro assisted with arrangements.
