Patricia M. Meseberg, age 78 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.
She was born on May 28, 1946 in Hillsboro to James and Erma (Blaha) Novy. She attended grade school at McKenzie School, until it closed then she went to Debello School until it closed and it became County Corners School. Patricia then graduated from the Hillsboro High School in 1964, from the old High School.
She met Kenneth Meseberg in 1975 at Valley Bar, where she was a bartender. They married on October 23, 1976.
Patricia had many odd jobs of babysitting, bartending, helping with tobacco and farming with her husband. She started working as a Housekeeper at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Nursing Home until she retired in 2012.
Her grandsons, Brayden and Ryder were one of the biggest joys of her life. She loved to fish, hunt, grow flowers, spend time outside and visit with family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was friends to many people and always had a good story to tell or prank to pull. Her stories were either a tall tale or a reminisce about things in the past.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Kenneth; her son, Eric (Sara) Meseberg; daughter, Kylie Meseberg; grandsons, Brayden and Ryder Meseberg; brother, Wesley Novy (Edith Marshall); sisters, Evelyn Nemmers and Janet Stanek; sister-in-law, Patty (Dave) Wiedemann; special family friend, Kevin Straight and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, James and Erma Novy; parents-in-law, Ernie and Hope Meseberg; brother, Ronald Novy; brother-in-law, Rudy Stanek; sister-in-law, Susan Coggon and brother and sister-in-law, Frank (Mona) Meseberg.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with Thomas Hotek officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2014 from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
