Roman Edward Fronk, age 18 years, of Black River Falls, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Roman was born on February 13, 2006 at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center to Charles Jr. and Tiffany (Lange) Fronk. Roman graduated from Alma Center/Lincoln High School in May 2024.

Growing up Roman enjoyed participating in football, basketball, and baseball. He was an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers. He also enjoyed on line video gaming with his friends.

Throughout high school, Roman’s academics were his first priority. He started taking high school courses in junior high, and was enrolled in college courses in high school. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA. During high school he participated in sports and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Some words used to describe Roman were kind, resilient, hardworking, a leader, sincere, and conscientious. Roman had a genuine smile and a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.

Roman is survived by his parents Charles (CJ) Fronk Jr. and Tiffany, and his sister and best friend Sophia, all of Black River Falls. His maternal grandmother Bonnie (Schwichtenberg) Lange of Hillsboro. Uncle Shannon (Bekki) Lange of Hillsboro. Aunt Lisa (Jim) Buchanan of Melrose, Aunt Renee (Tim) Marshall of Elroy, and many great aunts and uncles. Cousins Raven and Kambrie Haas, Opal Buchanan, Tyler and Kalin Marshall and Savannah Lange, and his high school sweetheart, Isabell Emerich.

Roman was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Charles (Chuck) Sr. and Nancy (Kaus) Fronk, and his maternal grandfather Edward Lange.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Hillsboro, with Pastor Isaac Fleming officiating. With a gathering to follow in the fellowship hall. A visitation will take place at Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 4 To 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be set up in Roman’s honor.

Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro is assisting the family with the arrangements.
