Una E. Havlik, age 90 years, of Madison and formerly of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Nazareth Health in Stoughton, following a long illness.
A lifelong resident of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, she was born to Henry and Ella (Watson) Rowley on August 16, 1934. Una graduated from the Hillsboro High School in 1952 and married the love of her life, James P. Havlik on May 8, 1954 in Wonewoc.
Family was everything to Una and many, many treasured memories were made at family picnics and family Christmases with the families of her five Rowley Sisters. Una also enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her son, Steven Havlik of Madison; daughter, Julie (Kevin) Erlandson of La Crosse; grandchildren, Alex (Tracy) Erlandson of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Kristin (Erik) Erlandson-Running of Trempealeau; five great grandchildren, Aksel, Henrik and Mikkel of Virginia Beach and Izabella and Jaxson of Trempealeau; brother-in-law, Andy Braund; brother-in-law, Marvin (Lois) Havlik and sister-in-law, Betty Havlik.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; husband, James Havlik on April 3, 1994; son, Stephen Havlik on May 8, 1975; sisters, Lavina Guthrie, Kathryn (Lorrin “Jim”) Schroeder, Bernice Rowley, Patricia (Evan “John”) Dabson and Charlotte Braund and a half-brother, Orv (Ruth) Rowley.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro, with Father Don Bauer officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
