VIVIAN M. MACHOVEC

Vivian M. Machovec, age 92 years, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at Milestone Senior Living in Hillsboro.

She was born on May 1, 1933, in the Town of Forest, Vernon County, the daughter of Percy and Lodemia (Berg) Revels.

Vivian was united in marriage to Martin Machovec on December 4, 1948 in Janesville.  They farmed near Yuba for many years, starting in 1952.  Martin preceded her in death on October 15, 2011.  Vivian then moved to Hillsboro.

Vivian and Martin were hard workers on the farm, she shocked oats and enjoyed feeding the baby calves.  For their enjoyment they loved to go to dances in the area.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning and spending time with her family and passing on the family history.

Survivors include her children, Victor (Suzanne) Machovec, Kevin (Patty) Machovec, Debra (Mike) Hubbard, Lori (Gary) Stanek, Julie Hendricks, Joan (Don) Bayer and Diane Woodruff; daughters-in-law, Bridget Machovec and Kim Machovec; several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and sisters, Arlene Johnson and Lucy Scott.

In addition to her husband, Martin; she was preceded in death by her Parents; an infant daughter, Mary in 1953; sons, Garry Machovec and David Machovec; son-in-law, Dale Woodruff; grandson, Tony Machovec; granddaughter, Christina Wiedenfeld; brothers, Bernie Revels and James Revels and sisters, Leona Kelbel and Mayva Haugh.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home in Hillsboro.  Burial will be in the Czech’s National Cemetery near Yuba.  A time of visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Picha Funeral Home.
